eSun PET Filament is based on PET with enhanced heat resistance and mechanical properties, offering better strength than PLA and PETG. It combines excellent toughness, heat resistance, and printing accuracy, making it a reliable choice for high-performance applications.
Main features of eSun PET:
- Heat resistant: Heat Distortion Temperature (HDT) of 60-80°C, offering better performance than PLA.
- High tensile and flexural strength: Tensile strength of 50-65 MPa (Z) and 70-90 MPa (XY), with flexural strength of 70-90 MPa and flexural modulus of 2200-2500 MPa.
- Low printing temperature: Recommended extruder temperature of 265-280°C and bed temperature of 80-95°C.
- High dimensional accuracy: Minimal stringing and precise prints at high speeds (≤260 mm/s).
- Good impact resistance: IZOD impact strength of 2-4.5 kJ/m², offering durability under stress.
- Elongation at break: 10-20% elongation, providing a balance of flexibility and toughness.
Note: For optimal results, use a heated bed and build surfaces such as masking paper, PVP solid glue, or PEI sheets. Printing at consistent temperatures is essential to ensure dimensional stability.
